9:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Boise Idaho’s First Chair

“First Chair is a two-piece fusion of melodic pop and driving rhythms based in Boise, Idaho. With two vastly different musical upbringings, Lanae Alvis (keyboards and vocals) pairs her bluegrass history with Rase Littlefield’s (drums) tenacious power behind the kit. Together, the two craft a visionary style of music. The mix of Alvis’s smoky, sultry vocals and blues/jazz, 1950s/60s influenced piano playing, with Littlefields power and animated drums make up their unforgettable sound. The balance of grace and power come full force with a sound that is uniquely First Chair.”

Saturday, June 25

4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Andrew Sheppard Music

Andrew Sheppard grew up in the high desert plains of Hailey, Idaho. Over the last few years he has gone from the hustle and grind of LA, to the honky tonks of TN, through the heartland of America and back to his roots. Former frontman of the Gypsy River Haunts, Sheppard is making a name for himself as a solo-artist and bandleader. Looking to explore new sounds and develop his own style, Sheppard now finds himself surrounded by a talented backing band of like minded musicians. His music has been described as a cockeyed medley of soulful Country, honest Rock N’ Roll, with an outlaw mentality. Sheppard has recently shared the stage with several major artists including: Josh Ritter, Willie Watson of Old Crow Medicine Show, Shooter Jennings, and Jason Isbell among others. Following up on his 2014 release of the EP “Trouble After Midnight,” Sheppard has put the final touches on his first full length release “Far From Here.” The album touches a deep vein of classic country rock spanning back to the days of the Grand ‘Ole Opry. It’s obvious to the listener that not only is Sheppard influenced by predecessors like Johnny Cash and the Tennesse Two, Neil Young, or contemporaries and fellow Idaho natives Mickie and the Motorcars and Reckless Kelly. No matter how his music hits you, it’ll give you a glimpse of where you’ve been and where you’re going. Andrew Sheppard—A straight shot of life.
